MIT Future of Data
This initiative is an opportunity for industry partners to work with MIT researchers on new policy-informed, technical approaches to today’s privacy challenges, to understand the implications of new laws such as the GDPR, and to lead a global dialogue with policymakers, civil society, and industry leaders as we shape the future of privacy and data governance.

This initiative focuses on applications of the latest machine learning (ML) technologies, resolving the current challenges which limit the abilities of ML, and addressing professional development skills that will help prepare a company’s workforce for this digital transformation.

FinTechAI@CSAIL
FinTechAI enables member companies to connect with the leading AI researchers in CSAIL to learn the capabilities and challenges, of AI advancements. It explores how the technical developments could impact the global economy through industry applications and considers how policy can be shaped to address the new capabilities. Through FinTechAI@CSAIL, we will collaborate with companies and leverage MIT’s convening capabilities to bring together researchers, industry leaders, policy makers, regulators, and academics to explore new AI technologies and address AI technical challenges.

This initiative will target sustainable computing and usher in a new generation of efficient, effective, and environmentally friendly computation in partnership with industry. Next Generation Software Efficiency (NGSE) will be focused on advancing the future of efficient software options facilitating the transition of fundamental academic knowledge to real-world technical solutions.
